The Fonds d’Emprunt can advise you in assessing your needs, accompany you in improving your business plan, updating your financial forecasts, seeking funding, and accompanying you throughout your business start-up.
The loans are for people 18 and older who do not have access or have limited access to traditional sources of financing for start-up or consolidation of businesses. The business must have its registered office in the territory of the following RCMs: Antoine-Labelle, Argenteuil, Laurentides, Pays-d’en-Haut & Rivière-du-Nord.
Le Fonds d’Emprunt grants two types of loans:
“Nanopret”: Loans between $ 500 and $ 2,000, Reimbursement period: 1 year (12 months).
“Microcredit”: Loans over $ 2,000 up to $ 20,000 per person (special case) per project and could go up to $ 40,000 if more than one owner in the company. Reimbursement period: 3 to 5 years (36 to 60 months).
Both types of loans must be used to start or expand a business. Loans may be used for working capital, fixed assets, advertising or other specific financial needs. Submissions will be sought to justify the funded items.
Accessibility Criteria:
- Limited access to traditional sources of funding;
- A registered office in the territory covered by our organization;
- A comprehensive business plan and financial forecasts;
- A project that demonstrates economic viability;
- Obtain all necessary permits for the operation of the project;
- The loan cannot be used to repay an existing debt or a project already carried out;
- The loans granted are individual, to the person, not to the company.
